Will drops out of Harvard to go to the Colorado Rockies with bison hunters. He can neither kill nor skin, but he is enthusiastic and rich enough to pay for the entire expedition. The team is led by the mysterious hunter Miller. He is the only one who knows the way to the mysterious valley where thousands of animals graze. But what price will they have to pay for these riches?
